IoM Day 3

Here's the venerable and trusted round the world bike of choice, failing to start after a little rain! Took me two hours of faffing to get the old nail started.  Glad it didn't do that in Mauritania!

We even attempted to bump it with a tow rope which failed, but did get the attention of an old biker who came out to help. (Gotta love the biker community)

Managed to pop in and see Linda, a family friend, who kindly offered her house in Douglas to us next year if we wish to see the IoM races! Love that girl.

A leisurely potter around the south of the island followed. No tears today ...

Even managed to fit in a little trainspotting for the trainspotter girlfriend! (Yes, it's true she actually like trains)

The evening was full of the delights of Douglas, we even visited, Quids Inn, a bar you have to pay £1 to enter. (You pop a pound in the turn style and all drinks are discounted)

The following morning we boarded the ferry and like a pair of pensioners, promptly fell asleep. I blame Quids Inn!
