400miles to Melrose.

Having bought some heated clothing we tested it on a trip to the Scottish Borders.  Ive got a Keis vest, and Sarah, an eBay special.  

The recently planned 'Norths Ace' route meant we were ready to roll. 

The pictures make it look idyllic and warm, but it was blowing a gale and 2 degrees.  The CRFs tiny peanut fuel tank had us running on fumes a couple of times. Keeps it exciting! 

The heated clothing drained the CRF battery and it needed bump starting, which had the added benefit of keeping me warm starting Sarah's bike! 

Melrose was a great night out, the locals were welcoming, the Thai take away particularly good.
