Jasons kit review.
Jasons kit was superior to mine in weight, the Jetboil did exactly what it said on the tin and the Kriega bags were great.
...and he's kindy done a review of it...
That total includes the kriega os mount and os 18 bags. 2x dry bags of clothes. Jetboil stove with gas inside, mountain equipment xero 350 sleeping bag, nordisk lightweight 2 man tent (900g), thermarest, pillow, towel, first aid, blow up bag (doubles as seat!!!).
Carried tube and siphon kit in 5l kriega. The rest in the acerbis fender bag which was a bit heavy and when the suspension dived the mudguard sometimes hit the wheel. Split the rest with the wolfman number plate bag, that was brilliant. Though did bugger my headlight cowl in Wales. I’d spread the load better next time.
The oxford universal sat Nav mount was really useful for charging stuff and weighed less than most ram mounts etc... I had a small stuff dry bag in the number plate bag, this held drugs, wipes (baby not anti septic) tissues, snood and hat. This was great and I’d also throw in the go pro and sat Nav when off the bike. Dry bags were a real bonus to be honest.

Tools, spanner’s, spare plug in waterproof case, plug socket, spare levers (a lot posher than the ones on the bike) weld stick, cable ties (not long or strong enough) tyre repair kit, bead tool, tyre plugs, pump, tyre levers double with wheel nut socket (learned they aren’t so high torque so maybe re-think the lightweight ones.
Tyre pressure gauge, screwdrivers, hex, Allen keys, silicone sealant (missed loctite) adjustable wrench, nitrile gloves. Shares your leatherman for a blade. In hindsight, loctite, better cable ties, and I really liked your little bike socket set so I’ve bought one. Sending you this lot for your blog....
..the toilet trowel - still attached.
