Tong and the TET

Time passes quickly and tomorrow its brown pants day.  Thankfully that's not a public holiday here in the UK, just time for my first real taste of Enduro.  Practice day on Saturday followed by the race on Sunday.

Edge Enduro have posted a few pictures on their face book page, given an enduro is not a site seeing trip i thought i'd nick the photos for posterity!

On a side note the organiser of Edge Enduro is Sonya Jarvis.  A rider herself, but was also once married to the Enduo numero uno Graham Jarvis and probably rode him! (*cough* sorry)  Check out that boys skill on youtube - legend!

The 5miles course looks damp and the weather is promising to be, erm, inclement... Marvelous!

On the bike front ive been doing a little 'midnight mechanics' (named as i need to sneak to the garage when my little girl is asleep, she'll kill me if she reads this).  I've  changed the wheels bearings on the 500,  fitted a G2 Throttle Tamer for softer power response (might stop me digging holes) and adjusted throttle cable slack.

Coops, Tony and Rich (my 'roomy' from wales) are also attending and Coops has even bought himself a new toy!  He'll be unstoppable on that, already out classes me in every possible riding category.  Well, unless you count laying on the floor next to the bike a skill and in that case im totally killing it.

In other news ive been in contact with Rob from Fly and Ride.  He's got space in September and is taking a truck to Malaga via Bilbao.  I quite fancy my bike being on that tuck and completing more TET in warmer climes.  I'll have to contact my travel buddy Jason.
