DAY 6: Great North Loop: the last hurrah

It's with mixed feelings that I start the last day of any trip.  On one hand, happy i have accomplished my goals, on the other, sad that adventure is drawing to a close, but always satisfied and even a little proud.

What a difference a day makes though! The weather was incredible.

And we're off!
First river crossing. .... more of a stream..

Followed by an ancient tractor doing some green laning, complete with moody farmers wife. Looks like she enjoys the food the farm has to offer. Best not stand between her and brunch...

I love Yorkshire! (I must buy a mug saying that)
The amount of lanes and trails and the setting in which you do it, is incredible. Perhaps the best that England has to offer.

On Day One, God made Yorkshire, the rest of his work was shite.

..not biased at all, still made me smile.

After another fantastic morning exploring, it was time to turn the hoops to the east and head home.

I stopped for coffee at a small town and met a 78 year old biker, his stories were fascinating. I left the encounter with the realisation I have three and half decades to fill the pages of my own book... Where next??

Final days progress.
Orange to Green
1020KM in total during the trip.
