Day 7: Epilogue

Writing this the following morning, coffee in hand and relaxing in a warm garden, I mull over the previous day's. It was my first multiple day day trip, over challenging terrain, all alone.

That's the first observation for me, you're never really alone. There are people everywhere, you just need to stop, smile and be open, company will find you. This was true for this trip and Morocco. ...albeit I was some miles from company on the piste.

If you're going it alone on a similar journey, pack light and take a light bike, something you can easily pick up and drag, perhaps when injured. (I'm smiling as I remember 'the Porpoises' two days ago!)

Take the trip at your pace, don't  rush.  For me, a motorcycle trip can be parallelled to Life; it's about the journey, not rushing head long to the final destination.  If I were continuing, I would have a rest day today.

Finally, as immortalised by Nike; Just do it! Don't listen to the nay sayers and the doubters and don't be afraid of the unknown. Adventure awaits.
