Corfu, Flip flop trail riding.

Does life get much better than exploring islands in the sun with those you love..and on bikes?! I think not. 

Corfu is known as Greece's emerald island because it's one of the greenest islands in Greece.  You can see the arid and barren Greek mainland from the Corfu coast, and for once you definitely know, the grass is not greener over there. 

Much respect to Sarah hustling the unruly quad around the island. 

Soo many men were beeping horns and waving as she flew past like a bronzed cow girl taming a Mustang. 

Like Slovenia many of the roads just end in dirt tracks. Great fun for the quad, not so much for me on my hired 200cc road scooter and flip flops!!  Still loved it though. Magic. 

The bikes allowed a level of freedom you just don't get with car.  Like romany Gypsys we went where we pleased,  taking any road or route the looked interesting. 

Corfu old town, UNESCO world heritage site, established 8th Century BC. 

What a pleasure to spend two days scooting around such an idyllic landscape.
