Practice makes perfect.... kind of.
After the buying the DRZ400 i knew i needed practice, i hadn't been on an off-road motorbike since i was child with the exception of one day at the Yamaha Off Road Experience in Wales. Every year since we were young and handsome my friends Ken and Paul have been doing an annual on-road motorbike adventure, this particular year we ended up at the link below.

It was excellent btw and spurned my friend, Ken, into buying a WR250F. It also planted the seed in my own mind that i had to get back into exploring off road. (That and Kens incessant nagging! He was also the one that encouraged (no), chastised me off my 50cc scooter and onto my direct access course years ago - when i was younger and much more handsome than he ;) )
I've spent the last 1yr 2mnths traversing the green lanes in Nottinghamshire (mostly alone) and via word of mouth met my KTM Enduro buddies Chris 'Coops' (likes to wheelie) and Tony (likes to Enduro). These guys really showed me what the bike might be capable of, far more than me i noted laying on my back in another puddle. Through their tutoring my skill grew to an expert, (no), skilled, (no) average (not really) ...erm...mediocre level.
Good enough i thought, and certainly better than the sphincter loosening first foray down the lanes.
As my confidence grew so did my conversations about the TET.
Attached; The KTMs that taught me about off-road biking. (Actually it was their riders, but i don't have photos of Coops and Tony!)
