Shipping Day

The bikes should be heading off to the fly and ride depo today.   Loading the bikes into the van to get to the Fly&Ride depo and the van would not start. eek! (Flat Battery?)

90 minutes until the fly&ride truck leaves, 65 minutes in the van to get there ....25 mins to source a battery.  (twitchy bum!)

Another issue is that my tools have been separated from the bike as i left them at the tea room in Wales! (idiot)  I should have them by Monday and will either post to Toulouse or take them on the plane with me.  Sorted European bike insurance and break down cover today, need travel insurance next.  Got a head torch on the way too. 

Meanwhile somewhere near Guildford; Whilst the battery was being fitted to the van at the nearest Halfords a can of Diesel was fetched back for it (to save time)    ... and then he's off.

and just in the nick of time, last bikes to be loaded. 

Definitely need to sort the luggage when i catch up with the bike. I loaded it with all my biking kit, including boots and it looks terrible. Jason's by comparison looks balanced and well thought out.

Game on!  We're definitely going...
