Ken's Half Century Tour Day 3

Live music could be heard from multiple door ways and the streets, on this Sunday night, were thronged with people.  Galway was easily the most lively place we've visited, but first we had to get there.

A quick 45mile shortened loop of the ring if Kerry gave opertunity to snap the following scenery.

A few hours further north, and €48 lighter, we visited the Cliffs of Moher. What a total rip off. The Irish saw us coming, someone has to pay for their Guinness though!

After a good days riding we reached Galway by about 18:00. I began phoning round for accommodation, but everything was booked. Finally managed to find three separate lodgings.

Below is the famous O'Connor's bar in salthil. Definitely worth a visit.

The streets of Galway on this Sunday night.

What a night!! The people and the music and the dancing. ...and not forgetting the 3:30 at Chepstow and Paul's goodbyes by ear grabbing!! (You had to be there)

At time of writing it's the next day.  I'm sat outside the B&b in the early morning sun attempting to clear the Guinness fog from my mind. Love Ireland.
